The room was tidy, reasonably large and the decor there was comfortable. Location: the hotel was short walk to the river and a beautiful terraced garden partly overlooking rice fields and the jungle. There were lots of restaurants to eat, like Warung Maha Neka that was only 10 minutes' walk away.

The hotel's decoration was absolutely charming, with beautiful traditional Balinese elements that added a touch of culture to the atmosphere. The general areas were well-maintained and provided a peaceful retreat for relaxation. As a senior woman, I appreciated the hotel's accessibility, with easy navigation and helpful staff always willing to assist me.
I would have appreciated more assistance from the children working there in terms of providing senior-friendly amenities or services.

The room at Rumah Sidemen was amazing! The tile/marble floor gave it a cool and refreshing vibe, perfect for the beach lover in me. And the view from the balcony overlooking the river was absolutely stunning. I loved sitting there and just taking it all in. The air conditioning provided a welcome relief from the tropical heat, and the private entrance made me feel like I had my own little haven. Plus, having a desk in the room was so convenient for catching up on work or writing in my journal. I couldn't have asked for a better room to relax in after a long day of exploring.
Personally, I wasn't a big fan of the mountain view from some of the rooms. But, hey, I understand that some people might enjoy it.

The location of this hotel is in a quiet and peaceful area, with stunning grounds and an attractive garden overlooking farming fields. The room was very big with lots of space, and the bed was comfortable with a nice mosquito net. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, providing helpful information about the local area and offering responsive service. The breakfast had enough choices, including delicious pancakes.
The bathroom could be better and sometimes difficult to have "very" hot water.

The view from our private terrace was absolutely breathtaking. We could sit and enjoy it for hours. the staff was friendly and accommodating, helping us with everything we needed for a reasonable price. the semi-open room provided excellent ventilation and cooling, making it a comfortable place to sleep. We also appreciated the 24-hour access to the kitchen for refilling our water and the nearby restaurants within walking distance.
During heavy rain, debris would get into the bathroom, making it a bit inconvenient to navigate around. Despite these minor inconveniences, our overall experience was enjoyable.

The room at Rumah Sidemen was amazing! The river view from the balcony made me feel so peaceful and relaxed. The tile/marble floor added a touch of elegance to the room. The air conditioning kept me cool and comfortable during my stay. The private entrance made me feel more at home. Plus, having a mountain view in some rooms was an added bonus.
Personally, I wasn't a fan of the seating area in the room. It felt a bit cramped for my liking, but I can see how others might still enjoy it.
